[TIPS] The Bottom Billion - on TED

Around the world right now, one billion people are trapped in poor or failing countries. How can we help them? Economist Paul Collier lays out a bold, compassionate plan for closing the gap between rich and poor.
Another one to show your students. It's not as totally compelling as Robert Ballard's talk, but this one talks directly to the young who will be dealing with this problem. "What did you do the LAST time we got serious about this problem?" (You, meaning the world)
Send this one to the Sociology teachers you know.
